Bob Marshall Wilderness

Album is of our trip into the Bob Marshall with B.M.Wilderness Ranch Outfitters. You can reach their website @
http://www.wildernessranch.com/

A trip into the wilderness is a life changing experience and Virgil and Barbara Burns are the most experienced guides out there. They are also wonderful people, always fun and treat you like family the entire time. It was 20 years ago to the day that I was last in the Bob with my folks and my brother. It seemed only fitting to take my wife in. I've learned from this trip that the wilderness is not a place to escape people, but rather a place to become closer to those who mean the most to you. It meant so much to spend this time with my parents and share such a beautiful place with Amanda. We also made life long friends with those whom we came to rely on for our excitement as well as our safety.

I miss my friends in Condon, MT!!!

Glacier Heli Tours

There is only one way to see all of Glacier Park, and that is by helicoptor. At nearly 1 Million acres, and only 700 miles of maintained trails, there are vast swaths of land you would never be able to see by foot. Once again Amanda and I were so lucky to have the most experienced guides, a blue bird day, and a one of a kind experience. We went with Glacier Heli Tours and you can check out their site @
http://www.glacierhelitours.com/

We took the one hour tour which takes you East from West Glacier over the Middle Fork of the Flathead, north to St. Mary Lake, over Logan Pass and the Going to the Sun Road, up briefly into Canada eh, and south by Bowman Lake, Heaven's Peak and over Lake MacDonald.

The link below will give you a very rough map of our tour. Scroll to the bottom and follow the thick black line to the right.

Very few pictures have captions as I'm sure where we always were, but I try to be specific whenever possible.

Glacier from the ground / St. Ingnatius / Missoula
